Song-first discovery
Festival sets, television sessions and fan recordings are grouped around the song you actually searched for.
Encore is a free live-music discovery app for finding the best recorded live version of a song. Search an artist or song, start with the standout take, then explore the performances that changed it on stage.

Encore prepares and ranks distinct live takes so you do not have to sort through an undifferentiated video wall.
Optional accounts let you save performances, recommend standouts and build song-first playlists.
A song can become something else in front of a crowd: faster, rawer, quieter, rearranged or completely unrepeatable. Those moments are scattered across YouTube under inconsistent titles and mixed with studio cuts, reactions and noise. Encore makes that archive easier to explore.
Encore begins with a bounded quality review of distinct live candidates and improves the order with recommendations from signed-in listeners. Curated collections help broaden discovery. YouTube views, likes and comments do not determine the ranking, and Encore does not publish a synthetic score.
Anyone can search, browse and play performances. Google sign-in is used only when you choose to keep a library, create playlists, save preferences or recommend a take. Encore requests basic sign-in information—OpenID, email and profile—to identify your account. It does not request access to your YouTube account.
Playback stays with YouTube. Encore uses the official embedded player and never hosts, downloads or re-encodes the videos it helps you discover.
